“Sales of newspapers have declined a lot over the years, since there are a lot of free newspapers being distributed and many people read the news online. I also used to make a lot more from selling cigarettes, but even that has gone down because people have moved on to vaping. Like most newsagents, I even sold some pornography magazines, but not for a few years now. People are sometimes too embarrassed to buy them I guess, so they just steal them from me when I’m not looking!”
「呢十年八年少咗好多人買報紙喇，因為有好多免費報紙派，同埋好多人都係上網睇新聞。以前賣煙都賺多好多，而家都少咗人買，因為啲人轉食電子煙。我同好多報紙檔一樣，都有賣鹹書，不過冇賣幾年喇。我估有時啲人會唔好意思買，於是就趁我冇望緊，偷咗幾本去囉﹗」
